Earthquakes

No, I haven't experienced one since I've been in Japan but here's an interesting story ... I was packing up stuff to head to Kyoto the next morning and listening to the radio in the hotel. I've mentioned it's an American/US military hotel. So we have US channels. Turns out we are listening to KOIT in the Bay Area. I realized it when they started to give a traffic report for San Jose! It was 10 pm Tokyo time and 6 am CA time. And then the radio personalities started talking about the earthquake and telling stories about where they were when they experienced it. What an odd way to hear about it.
